

Keisuke Toyama was born in 1984 and began playing piano from 5 years old. He won the 1st prize of "The 73rd Music Competition of Japan" in 2004. He had completed his bachelor's degree from The Tokyo University of the Arts in 2006 then started studying in Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from 2008. After he had come back to Japan, he got M.A. degree from the university he graduated before.
He made his album debut in January of 2007, CHOPIN: HEROIC. After that, he released 3 albums titled Impressions (2008), Rachmaninov (2009), Chopin: Polonaise-Fantaisie (2010) and his 1st best album BEST in 2011. Also, he joined the album COPLAND & GERSHWIN and played Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Siena Wind Orchestra conducted by Seikyo Kim.
He holds his recitals in Japan's most renowned concert halls such as Suntory Hall and The Symphony Hall every year. Likewise, year after year, he works with popular orchestras. In 2009, when the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Antoni Wit held a concert in Japan, he played Chopin's Piano Concerto No.1 and got a reputation. Through his various and high-quality work, he become a leading pianist among younger generation in Japan.
