Kõrvits Kreek’s Notebook

Mozart Requiem, KV 626

Chief Conductor Kristiina Poska once again invites her compatriots of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. This time to perform Mozart’s immortal Requiem: a creation shrouded in myth, but one that still brings tears to listeners’ eyes. With passionate despair, heavenly longing and, eventually, a softly-seeking solace. The choir’s repertoire also includes the intriguing Kreek’s Notebook by Estonian composer Tõnu Kõrvits. Tune into hypnotising star clusters of sound, night skies of melancholy and subtle harmonic hymns.

an irresistible myth
