At Eastertide, the Passion story invites reflection. With Ruth Reinhardt and the young soloists of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, we explore suffering and redemption, light and shadow in Bach’s Double Concerto. Haydn’s Symphony No. 49, “La Passione”, opens the programme, shaped by Sturm und Drang. Bartók then creates a nocturnal atmosphere, blending folk rhythms with structures such as the Fibonacci sequence, enhanced by a dedicated lighting design.
In collaboration with Robbrecht and Daem Architects, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and BOZAR.
