Martijn Dendievel, one of the most promising conductors of our day, will be joining Flanders Symphony Orchestra as associate conductor during the next three seasons! Dendievel has plotted out an exciting trajectory for us, shining a spotlight on Eastern Europe and the music of Antonín Dvořák. The latter’s Symphony No.7 is our fascinating starting point. Pianist Tanguy de Williencourt – who previously recorded Franck with us – will deliver a surprising interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
