Martijn Dendievel and Anastasia Kobekina, two young thirty-somethings, take on the music of traditional composers. Rising star Kobekina is known for her musical experimentation, banging on her cello and improvising with Vivaldi. Together they challenge traditions, dust them off and create something new. Brand new chief conductor Dendievel launches his Mendelssohn cycle with this concert: in the coming seasons he will perform Mendelssohn's five symphonies.
