SOV Masterclasses give students of the Royal Conservatory of Ghent the opportunity to attend a masterclass twice per academic year. They work side by side with our conductors. Using repertoire pieces, the students gain insight into the workings of an orchestra: the communication between conductor and orchestra members/concertmaster, the contact between conductors and their group, and the relationship between the different groups. At the end, there will be an public presentation.
